Programming with HTML Forms

The form is an extremely useful mechanism, since it transforms HTML from a hypertext page description language into a tool for creating interactive documents.

Forms and their associated programs are straightforward to write, helped by the availability of examples, utilities and documentation, accessible through the Web.
