It can be appreciated by users of any browser, any version.
In-page examples will work only in IE4 for Windows 95, 98 and NT.

Most applications use toolbars to group user-selectable options. The browser you are using does.

In this column, we will look at creating the look and behavior of Windows-like toolbars using Internet Explorer DHTML.

It's a lot easier than one would think.

Prerequisites

So, let's first introduce the concepts and create a text-only toolbar.
